Founder, CEO
Ashraf Kakiloglu, CPA, EA
Ashraf embarked on his life's journey in Turkey, where he earned his bachelor's degree in Tourism and Hotel Management in 2006. After relocating to the USA in 2007, he shifted his focus away from the hotel industry. In November 2017, Ashraf pursued a master's degree in Accounting at Indiana Wesleyan University, graduating in April 2019.
Transitioning to self-employment, he provided tax return services and completed all sections of the CPA exam in 2021. Subsequently, while employed at a tax support firm, he obtained the EA (Enrolled Agent) certification by the end of the year.
In June 2022, Ashraf joined a prestigious accounting firm, one of the big four companies, and gained insight into how large corporations function. He remained with the firm until August 2023.
Motivated by his experiences, Ashraf then took the step to establish his own business, founding Your KO CPA LLC on August 16, 2023.
